Introduction

Hello all,

New to the site. Replica watch collector.

I currently have a PAM 212 Flyback, Montblanc Timewalker, Chopard Gran Turismo XL in my collection (all purchased through TrustyTime).

After looking through the PAM sections, etc, I am very much interested in purchasing a modded PAM 111. It seems to me that the 111's selling on all of the dealers need to be modded in order to get a more authentic look.

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of getting a superb quality PAM 111 or 112 right from a dealer, rather than trying to mod it or if there is someone out there who specializes in modding them. Most of the posts I've read seems to me that it is a pretty intensive project to mod it and I do not have anyone to do the modifications. Thanks in advance!

Most 111s look fine even without mods. How do you like the 212?

Hey fakemaster -

I like the 212 very much. I had one prior to this but it was stolen, so I've been able to compare the previous model to this new one. The new one has a more green/yellow lume than the previous model (and according to Andrew means it has a better glow, although it doesn't last very long) but other than that it looks great. Some obvious signs that it's a rep (beveled CG), but on the wrist, I love it.

As for the 111 - do you have a recco on who is making the best version? I like the sandwich dial over the sausage dial, but really just want something that feels good and looks gen (even though if I take it to my watch guy, he'll know right away it's not). Any reccos would be appreciated.
