Usil Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 I have several case back removal tools and all of them remind me of sharp metal claws just ready to tear the hell out of the back of my nice new watch at the slightest misstep in use - which has happened. Wouldn't it make more sence to make the small inserts into these tools out of nylon or other tough durable plastic? Does anyone do this? Usil
chris5264 Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 That is a great point, I have a swiss made tool and the tips are metal and very sharp, I guess it would costs more to smooth these out. However, I remember the screwdriver on my gen pam, that thing was as sharp as a knife like they wanted you to scratch the case, and those screwdrivers are pretty expensive so I don't get it.
