rek001 Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 Hi, everyone - I hope you are having a nice weekend. I am thinking of getting a Pam 196 Daylight on leather strap, such a beutiful watch. It wuld be my first 44mm Pam, it's really the only 44mm I want. But is it a very heavy watch? I've got a skinny (6.5") wrist, and I wear some heavy reps, a 42mm Breit Crosswind comes to mind. I just got a pre-owned 168 Regatta which I really love, but it is pretty heavy for a 40mm, I am surprised. I know this "very heavy" question is subjective, but, I'd appreciate any advice before I make a $700 mistake Thanks very much!
Tikerz Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 I just got a 7753 PAM 188 and it's heavy. It may be heavier than the Arktos I had a while back. I have small wrists too and it looks and feels great. I like a heavy watch.
rek001 Posted July 15, 2006 Author Report Posted July 15, 2006 That looks very good on you - so it is comfortable? Also, now that I think more about it, a more precise way of putting it - is the 196 noticeably heavier than other non-chrono 44mm Pams? (question directed to everyone, not just Tikerz)

4fun Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 My 7753 196 Daylight(old case) is much heavier than 7753 Panda(new case). And most likely, you can only get one with the new case.
