mjg060468
Can anyone help me please. I purchased a beautiful rose gold patek phillippe from what used to be watch lover david in 2005/2006 via the Replica Collector website. Unfortunately his email address is bouncing back at me. Can anyone help me please, either with current details for watch lover dave or someone who can help with the repair of the watch. Basically the winding mechanism has broken. I can post a picture later if helpful. Please please help me!
Toadtorrent
If you can post pictures of the movement, we'll be better able to tell you if it's worth repairing the movement, or if you're better off to do a movement replacement. mjg060468
Actually looks more like the winding stem has broken. Problem is I have lost the component, so need to replace.
Toadtorrent
If the stem has broken but the movement is fine. With pics of the movement, you might be able to order a new stem from some of the forum members who are also suppliers like Offshore. Possibly sending him a PM might get what you need. If it's a whole movement...depending on which on it is...members here should be able to help you identify it...and a substitute that you can order through supply outlets like Ofrei, Borel or even Offshore as well. You should post a topic with the header something like "Please Help Identify this Movement - automatic/manual wind in Patek Philippe rep"
