Guest chronomat123 Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 Well, I got an MBW 1680 from a forum member a few weeks ago, and I love it. It's the whiteletter version. As only my luck would have it, I was winding the watch a few minutes ago and the movement and dial seemed to be floating around inside the watch. I opened it up, and both case clamps have snapped off. The only thing holding the movement and dial in the watch is the crown stem and crown. Am I screwed? Can anyone point me in the right direction-- where do I get new case clamps?
ubiquitous Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 Clamps are easy to get, and available at most watch parts supply houses. Should be a couple bucks total for the parts and shipping, etc (some may require a minimum order for shipping).
