Why is there such an inconsistency in the quality of sapphire crystal AR coatings? I was just looking at King's website, and I really want the titanium Panerai she has (photo below). It looks well-coated and appears to be a fine example. Yet the quality of AR coating can vary greatly even among the stock of the same dealer. Strange. I guess one dealer's stock is supplied by various manufacturers. Lastly, is there anyone who is particularly pleased with the AR coating on their rep Panerai? I'm leaning towards ordering this 034.
