well belated anyhow

Carved out a pumpkin yesterday for the 1st time in probably a decade - I don't have any little ones but me and my gf felt like kids last night - we baked pumpkin seeds and she got dressed up as a witch to scare the little ones but it didn't work, she looked too cute

Usually here In Canada, Halloween is real cold but yesterday was mild (about 10

We just put the usual sign on the front door:

"Trick or treaters will be killed and eaten"

We had a quiet evening. Works every time.

(yes, I'm kidding - although I do think it's sad that the UK seems to have imported 'trick or treat' from the US at the expense of our own 5th November 'penny for the Guy' tradition, which has all but disappeared. Shame.)
