Advice on new Seller

Recommended Posts

Hello all, I am new, I came across this website and have been corresponding with him

via regular email. He accepts Paypal, which is a plus.

But what gets me worried is his prices for Gen ETA 2836 Rolex GMTII

and Explorer II are only $250 with free shipping form Ghangzouh.

The cheapest GEN ETA powered GMT/EXP2 I have found form our trusted

sellers is around $300 plus 30 for shipping.

Is this guy false advertising or is he just beating the competition?

I wouldn't trust any dealer who posts photos of gens purporting to be the watches he or she sells. Looks very fishy. My recommendation is to avoid like the plague.

Stick to the dealers recommended on the various rep watch boards. It's all too easy to lose your dough or be fobbed off with street junk at high prices. Ask anyone who's been in this hobby for a while - most of us have made that mistake at least once.

In all seriousness, the best policy is always to assume that it's a scam unless you find strong evidence to the contrary (i.e. info from others who have successfully bought from them)

Thanks for the tip, I will stick with Angus.

Sorry for the duplicate post. I will try to delete the others now.

I am in Miami so no affiliation with any chinese webstores.

Hmmm the guy offers payment through an escrow service..you get to inspect the watch prior to him receiving the payment.

Scammers generally will not accept escrow..he might be legit
