c0r
Ive had many breitlings but never worn it on leather. Just got a leather deployant croc from Ruby. I threw it on the evolution and I've noticed a few things. Someone let me know if this is normal. The way it latches is MUCH MUCH less secure then my skyland, my bentley and my evolution (steel) bracelets. It doesnt come apart but I haven't worn the leather that much. Secondly, The leather feels very stiff (and I know it needs to be broken in) but it feels abnormally uncomfortable. Thirdly, Any tips for rep leather to maintain the lifetime.? c0r
I just clapped and the watch came un-done. I think the clasp is messed up. Thoughts?
Toadtorrent
No problems with my Skyland deployment...it's secure. The strap needs breaking in. If you look at strap sites, or read OEM specs...regular wear says a leather strap should only last 6 months before it should be replaced. Break it in...it's not going to last a lifetime. szvwj
My deployment clasp was loose like that. It was a simple fix: Just slightly bend the clasp. Basically what's happening is that the two pieces are too closely aligned, so there's not enough friction between the pieces that snap together. If you bend the clasp slightly, you change the alignment between the two pieces, increasing the friction between them. You don't need to bend it very much, so be careful. I hope that makes sense. c0r
The bend did the trick. Good stuff. Thank you very much.
