cht Posted November 27, 2008 Report Share Posted November 27, 2008 (edited) Mine will do some weird things when I try and set it sometimes. I must mention that I have the dg4813 though. Sometimes when I pull out to set, it will set. But when I push it back in, it does not disengage the hack, and will still adjust the time. I have to press it, pull it out, fool around with it etc to get it to work right. However, mine only clicks when I set the date, which is normal. It makes a squeaking noise when I wind it. Well, I am not wearing mine since it has a few problems, so it goes dead often. hence, I wind it. Am I taking crazy pills or what? Hopefully someone will chime in. The stem was probably cut too short, which does not allow the base of the crown to clear the end of the tube In this case, the winding gears may not mesh correctly, which can cause clicking & other problems. Best to have a watchmaker look at it. Either refer this back to the seller (if still under warranty), try Ziggy (search out Ziggyzumba) or check your phone book for local watchmaker & phone them to see if they are willing to work on rep watches.
