dvn
Looks like a good deal for a working tourbillon eventhough it is china make. Can the expert has some opion on that? Is it a real working toubillon? Is it a good buy for $399 with a free single watch winder. http://www.sharperimage.com/us/en/catalog/...ails/sku__WM950

Indeed it would be if it were a working Tourbillon - but it isnt. $120 will buy you the rep of your choice with this type of movement Is it a real working toubillon? Absolutely not Is it a good buy for $399 with a free single watch winder Sorry No .
Watchmeister
It's that Tourbillon-style description that gets me. But it is indistinguishable from a $20,000 timepiece. My opinioin of the Sharper Image has just declined greatly.
HighDef
I saw this watch in one of thier store last night. It look cheaply made, unfortunately, nobody in the store know what movement it has rather than it is an auto movement not battery needed they say. SmoothOperator
I second Narikaa's comments. Certainly not a good buy. Cheap rep. Here's a review comparing two similar reps .. one bought from a site such as SharperImage which misrepresents its products http://www.timezone.com/library/extras/ext...766575540468750 not exactly the same model that you link to .. but I'm sure you'll get the idea. The cheapest that I heard of a Working Chinese tourbillon is just under us$700. Here's a link to some real working tourbillons http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...amp;hl=sea-gull
45wheelgun
Great thread. Thanks guys, I have been interested in getting a rep Tourbillon for a while and this thread along with those linked to it were very enlightening. Dave
