Feta1
Hey guys - I know most people say the Rollie DayDate reps wear/look smaller then the gens. I a very much agree when I compared mine to my father-in-law's. I was wondering if anyone knew if any of the available DD reps (excluding the new DD II) are the are the correct size like the gen and don't look smaller on the wrist like the reps? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Happy Holidays!!!!
Corgi
The Day Date I got from Josh over a year ago was the same size as the gen... maybe when you say "wear smaller" you mean "wear lighter" because the gens are only available in precious metals, making the reps almost featherweights by comparison. Yes they do wear lighter b/c of the metals, but i hold mine to the gen and is smaller.. the case itself looks smaller, so do the dial and lungs... which is why I was wondering if it was my watch or all DD reps... Which one did you get from Josh?
Noel Fleischer
we have discussed this before and its a bit confusing. the reps if anything, are maybe just alittle smaller but not much. they look (not weigh) smaller probably because of the bezel and dial construction. it seems to make the dials seem smaller and less open than the gens.
