Speedmaster Day Date reliability

Hi to all experts,

I would like to ask about Speedmaster Day Date reliability. I have read that due day date functionality extra gears were needed and i have done lot of research through the forums but I did not find anything about impact on 7751.

I wanted Speedmaster Date prior to Day Date but found that it has clown feet logo and I dont want to do mods at the moment. I was searching for Date through all dealers but found only with that bad Omega logo...

Anyway, back to my main question, does anynone have info about reliability of 7751 due to modifications for day-date functions of Speedmaster ?

From what I recall the only thing you might run into is mis-alignment of the date wheels...happens in a lot of asian movements. Some are noticeable, some not, but ETA datewheels are a worthwhile upgrade imho.
