I would like to age one of my new leather straps, to make it look real old and vintage.

Has anyone got tips how I get the best results in the shortest time? (I thought about salt water, UV Rays, heat, ect. =@:whistling: )

Thanks

What about bleach ? I had good results with the cheap leather replica straps.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the reply. What I tried was boyling salt water, sandpaper, fire ( ...ok just a candle) and dubbin.

Worked out pretty well. The "not so cheap" band now looks like i've been fighting on the battlefield, but at least like I have worn the strap for the last 10 years. I'll post pics later on.

Bleach sounds great. I just started to age that strap.
