  1. Has anyone a source to get a replacement SS chronograph button for a Montblanc Timewalker Chrono? One of them chose to leave me and see the world... or meet some vacuumcleaner in person (see pictures below). Any tips would be very welcome. Thanks s.t.
  2. Thanks Rolexman, I thought that this one would be tough. But I just do not want to throw it in the basket although it did not get a lot of wrist time. Off Topic: Still looking for a good dealer for shipping from within Europe since Eurotime has been gone from this board.
  3. Has anyone a source to get a replacement SS chronograph button for a Montblanc Timewalker Chrono??? After more then two years one of them chose to leave me and see the world... or meet some vacuumcleaner in person ... finally. Any hint or help very wanted. Thanks
  4. I don't know what I would do with it, but everyone wearing this is the coolest m.....cker on this planet!
  5. I have a 01-94 Phantom Rep. I bought it from Eurotimez (who is not around RWG anymore). Look is cool, Lume is good, but it has a Quartz Movement and a Datewheel wich makes it more easy to be exposed as a rep. The regular black and white PVD 01-92 I own is very close to the real deal. Cheers
  6. Hi Pete, I also might be interessted in the 03. Since pm is not working at the moment, would you mind posting specs and pics? Cheers s.t.
  7. How did you order at the AD? Last year I called 3 dealers and all told me I had to send in the watch to Paris, and that even the AD could not hand out these screws. At least it's like that in Switzerland. Cheers s.t.
  8. Oh, finally this was easy... I mailed Eurotimez and Chris would send me some screws for free. I know, this is about gen parts... but for a replacement of missing screws it did a perfect job...
  9. I called B&R dealers in Zurich and told them that I had a gen B&R and a cornerscrew (frontside) is missing... They told me I should stop by with the watch and that they will have to send it in to Paris headquater for the replacement. They do not even have the screws as sparepart. I got the screws in my mail ... coming... not from Paris. LOL
  10. s.t.

    Enicar

Also got one. My Dad bought it in the 70's...
  11. Got the grey/black "fantasy" Phantom with lume. Lume is ok, but not great.
  12. Check this one at the Eurotimez Website. I got a B&R from him last year wich was ok but not near to perfect. Looking at this new one though, I believe I will place my order soon. Cheers
  13. The few times we dealed with each other, you not only kept word, but suprised me in a very positiv ways. Keep your Head up, watch you'r health(!) and don't give up the business. All the best.
  14. So sorry, that I still haven't posted them pics... to much work around here these days. But if you want a propper lume, you will have to relume those... it's ok, but not anywhere near the originals. Also the watch has got a few flaws... but non anyone recognised so far when mentioning my watch (even those with B&R gens on their wrists ... the Phantom is too limited. )
  15. B&R 01-92, or -94 Phantom I got the 94 from Eurotimez... so dark.
  16. I personaly like Hamiltons... I had 2 frogman gens... sold one of them a few days ago since playing with the big boys here
  17. Hehehehe... Like the TAG as well, but I hear phone functions are not so good... the same with the Porsche. Nevertheless, would be nice as a phone you just use going out at night...
  18. From "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" Anyone got an idea??...
  19. I got so many compliments about my reps, but not one time the question if it is gen or not. I think it really depends on the combination of the watch and the one wearing it. If you are wearing a 50000 dollar watch, as a 23 year old kid, thats got a job at the gas station, people just might not believe you. I also see a lot of greed in business... So driving a too big car and wearing a too expensiv watch might not always be helpfull as well. So if one got the watch also as a status symbol in business, maybe one should think of a watch he really could afford as a gen and go maximum one price level up to reach the next step. People will look at you, like you deserve to wear a watch like this, cause you did a great job... If you're working at the gas station... what the heck, get whatever you like... but be prepaird for silly questions Just my 2 coins...
  20. And thanks to the word "bleach" the search here on the board spit out a few more solution. Thanks again guys.
  21. Hey guys, Thanks for the reply. What I tried was boyling salt water, sandpaper, fire ( ...ok just a candle) and dubbin. Worked out pretty well. The "not so cheap" band now looks like i've been fighting on the battlefield, but at least like I have worn the strap for the last 10 years. I'll post pics later on. Bleach sounds great. I just started to age that strap.
