Newbie Qestion

Hi, I'm fairly new to this forum, having only made a couple of posts so far.

How do I upload my own picture to display as an Avatar? I uploaded a picture to my profile that I thought would suffice but it didn't work. My apologies for being such a noob.

thanks for the info Toadtorrent, and the links - very useful

However I am still not able to upload my own image as an avatar. I did searches, help files and submitted a ticket, and all info says I should be able to load an image thru "my controls - edit avatar settings", yet I don't see it.

At the top of the page locate my controls and click on it, this will open a page and you will find edit avatar under personal profiles, select edit avatar and you will be able to upload or select an avatar.
