bubu Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 (edited) Hi Guys. Have finally bought a photo studio in a box with side dispersed lighting. And after many posts hope to soon learn to display my collection. How do you prevent reflections from occuring on non ar watches? Am not using a flash and am using time exposure. Thanks Edited January 10, 2009 by Chino Moved from watch trade to general deiscussion. No Reflections for sale here. ;)
Toadtorrent Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 It's tricky. Ideally, use a polarizing filter and it will cut out the glare. Short of that, use a watch with AR coating...that helps a lot...otherwise, it's just getting the right angle. Try using Silly Putty or Rodico to help act as a soft clay to keep the watch in the position you need it in...or try finding a matte black card and positioning that in various ways to act as "neutral" reflector...possibly almost right on top of the watch but out of view of the camera.
Toadtorrent Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 how much you looking for? trades? I'm assuming you've mis-posted...or is that an offer for services rendedered in your avatar?
Toadtorrent Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Admin...I think this should be moved to either General Discussion or somewhere more appropriate...this isn't a sales post.
