HighDef Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 This look like a Poljot, but not quite. Chinese Poljot copy maybe??
gran Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 Its a Chinese made Sea-Gull ST-2800 movement Read this link on Sea-Gull movements: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...amp;hl=sea-gull http://img436.imageshack.us/img436/6265/gr...calibers7lt.jpg
HighDef Posted July 25, 2006 Author Report Posted July 25, 2006 Wow!! ?The Chinese watch industry seem to be very aggressive in putting out a lot of new produsts. So this one is the ST28 handwind with mechanical alarm. The ST28 movement alone is $87, Paul is selling his watches with this movement for $89. Is it safe to say that Paul ST28 movement on his $89 watch is a copy of the real SeaGull ST28? http://www.aspire-eshop.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=1080
bigpops Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 (edited) It's very doubtful it's a copy of the Seagull. I'm guessing they cost a lot less than $87 when you buy them by the truck load. Edited July 25, 2006 by bigpops
