Then there were 12 OOR (out of range) models released after. So this is 10 of the 12 OORs. It's true for not only Fiddys but other models as well. you are really a Panerai encyclopedia! the asking price for this one is even higher than the standard fiddy's...even now when the prices of the 127 tend to go down a little bit (available now below 20K while a couple of months ago they were going for 23+K) this is priced at 28K... It looks like the number is acid etched on this model as opposed to being engraved like the ones that were released to the general public. It would be a sweet mod if we could get our casebacks engraved like that. If I ever dropped the coin to put in a gen movement it would be worth a lot to lose the infamous E0117. I think it's a process called EDM, which uses electricity rather than acid. This technology should be available to rep factories, so you never know...
