patinga
I am thinking of picking up an inexpensive ultrasonic cleaner to clean bracelets and parts to use after the good ole' toothbrush rubdown. Any thoughts on these and how effective they are (which I guess would depend on the cleaner)?
DemonSlayer
Buy one, you won't be disappointed, trust me. I initially bought mine for cleaning watch bracelets/parts, but I've found several other handy uses for it as well! As Freddy333 once told me "no WIS should be without one"
pollux1
Can anyone recommend where to purchase in the UK/EU? Thanks.
orionz
The price/performance one I have found is this one. What do you think?
patinga
The one I found is on eBay in Australia and it under $10 +$7 for shipping. I am sure there are better ones out there, but for the price, I can't complain.
offshore
The price/performance one I have found is this one. What do you think? Looks OK, but it is back ordered to March 2!

vric
The price/performance one I have found is this one. What do you think? I have that one.. got it on ebay for about $40 shipped. Work great for the price.. You only have a cycle of 3 minutes, but I usually do it twice.
trailboss
The price/performance one I have found is this one. What do you think? Yep, same as my household one. Quite good enough for bracelets etc. Everything the add says is true. For the workshop I have one of these in the 8ltr size. Cleans anything off anything. Great for cleaning carbies, injectors, thru hull transducers, anything realy. You don't shove your hand in there when it's on, that's for shure! Every home should have a US cleaner of some type. They realy are that handy. You will just keep on finding uses appart from watches. Just don't submerge your watch in it and switch on. You will learn the true meaning of "water resistant" Regards, Col. Edited February 1, 2009 by trailboss
