Raivotauti
I ordered from diamond castle Sa blue batons dial. It suppose to be scratchless but as You can see from picture there is two deep cratches. I asked compensation from them, here is Our E-mail conversation: Answer: Dear thediamondcastle, Your item discription was: is in good condition, with no scratches to the naked eye. There is three deep scratches on the dial wich I can see without knowing those are there. How about if You refund Me 120$ and We are even? I didn't leave You feedback yet, I desided to contact You first to solve this problem. Regards Marko Answer: Dear raivotauti, Marko, I personally checked the dial before sending it out and it had NO scratches. There is no way I am giving you back $120. The item you purchased was exactly as described. I inspected the item prior to shipping it to you, besides the fact that I paid additional $40 to UPS the item to you for an expedited delivery. I believe i acted professionally in every way, and if you want to leave a negative feedback its on you. Regards, Julie - thediamondcastle Reply: Are You really telling Me that You inspected dial? As You can see there is scratches above letter e and left from the center post. WTF? Or do You claim that I scratched it by My self? Waiting for reply. Buy from diamondcastle, It's up to You. HauteHippie
And you saw a picture of the unscratched dial on Ebay before buying? I wouldn't trust a random seller's "personal inspection" and without pics of the actual item for sale, it's just going to come down to your word vs theirs. They will say it had no scratches, you will say it arrived scratched. But if there is no photo evidence either way, you lose. Be careful out there! Sometimes you have to learn the hard way, I guess. Raivotauti
I guess You are right Chieaftang. At least it looks great istalled, and scratches wouldn't pop out when I take a look time. It looks bigger than the white dial You sourced. I'll install that next week when I receive new SA to mod. I tried new deliverer theonewatch they didn't have any shipping fees and breitling boxset were only 38$.
PaulVanDyk
i was thinking of buying from them....but Defender got in touch with me just in time. Sux that happened to you.
HauteHippie
Yea, unfortunately "no scratches to the naked eye" doesn't mean "no scratches". Don't trust someone else to determine for you what is acceptable. But, it sounds like it doesn't bother you much anyhow and it probably cost less than a new one would have. So, in the end, it worked out fine.

Defender110
I TELL you GUYS all the time... the ITEMS on fleabay are from watch repair or upgrade centers, or diamond modders. a used part is MUCH different then a NEW PART. the price and value are much different!!! and cannot be compared in anyway!! a dealer will sell a used part (rolex, breitling, patek, omega, etc.) for whatever he can get -IT IS GRAVY. he has NOTHING invested in the cost of the item because it was replaced with a NEW part by the repair center, and he kept the spare to sell.. he is happy to sell the item and is glad he does not have to throw it away or keep it.
