New crown and winding problem on A6497

I recently replaced my crown with a T48.

All went fine but there was a annoying grinding feeling when I would wind it up. It wasn't as smooth as it used to be.

Now it is more severe, the movt makes clicking sounds when I wind it. It seems to skip.

Any clue to what could be wrong?

I experience the same problems but on two separate watches.

For the grinding, I also experienced this during winding. For my case, I just flipped the crown guard upside down and it went away. I think it was rubbing with the latch.

For the clicking sounds and skips, I still have this problem. My crown fell off during winding. After I reinistalled it I notice the problem. I now have to apply a bit pressure to avoid it from skipping during winding.
