Jit
Hi all on RWG. I have been lurking around for some months now and have learnt so much from you all. I finally decided to take the plunge and ordered a beginmariner from Josh at PC. I received a great service from Josh during the waiting time and afterwards. I'm real happy with the watch However there are a few mods that I feel need to be made which I list below: * The almost invisible crown at the 6pm marker does not sit bang on the minute marker between 'swiss' and 'made' (the glass needs moving anti clockwise to the left about 1 milimetre) *The date wheel is not centered and the date is not bang in the centre but sits high and slightly to the right if this makes sense. I think a new date wheel may be needed? *It's noisy, I don't mind the ticking but sometimes you can hear a whiring sound if my hand suddenly jerks! Are there any UK based modders that could help me or any EU based modders that can help resolve these issues? Thanking you in advance for any advice and support. Best wishes, Jit
smithy37
You need to speak to Rocket at RWWP. He is a genuine watchmaker and has a legitimate business. However, so as not to alienate his clients he has set up RWWP sourcing, servicing and modding all manner of replicas watches. If you email him at Rocketeer@rrwp.co.uk he will send you a welcome pack detailing prices and services available. He is based in the UK (Buckinghamshire, I think) I have just pulled the trigger on a UPO which he is going to source for me, service and modify it. He has even offered to supply genuine Omega parts so I can make it truly ultimate. I decided to let Rocket source the watch to cut down on lead times. He is using Precious time on my behalf. I hope you get sorted with him and I will, in due course, post pictures of my beautiful creation. Edited February 26, 2009 by smithy37
