beano2004 Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 Can someone please confirm if the first generation of Eddie Lees 196 dials that came with the asian 7750 were interchangeable with the 7753 movement? I always thought that the 7750 dials were different than the 7753 as the date window does not align properly? Thanks bean

promotersf Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 My old case 196 came with a swiss movement from EL that way, maybe a question to The Zigmeister since he owns my old 196. I don't think it swapable though...

RWG Technical Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Not interchangeable, the 7753 DW has a larger diameter than the 7750...you need a new 7753 dial to match the DW placement. RG

babola Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Yup correct, and I learned this the hard way, although a long time ago now :-( The frustration was so high that I pulled a trigger on peepshow's (originaly owned by 'lovepanerai') 196 with ETA7753, modded by The Zigmeister. Well, live and learn.
