Replacing Crown And Stem

Hi all,

I'd like to replace crown in my last purchase: omega aqua terra with 2892 (seagull i presume).

I wish to replace these parts with crown and stem from another aqua terra model but with different movement (eta 2824/36).

I wonder if the stem lenght is the same or if it changes for different movements.

p.s: is it possibile to part stem from crown safely without any damage?
