ewing
Hi, I have a nice Pam 253 and I wish to repaint the chrono needle in the correct hue. Can the case be opened form the top (remove bezel and crystal) Do I need special tools to remove and put the hand back on? Or can I just paint it while still on the watch? Will the extra weight (paint) be a problem? Aerosol paint or not? That's about it for now :-) Thanks! Could also be a candidate for a nice relume ;-) Edited March 7, 2009 by ewing
l3x
Nice watch. Love that strap. Looks great on it. I would think you'd want to take the watch apart (including the hands) before you paint. Less chance you'd screw up the dial and get paint all over it. You should use the correct tools to remove the hands. Check out ofrei for all the tools u need (bergeon hand removers). There's different tools for different hands.
