Newdoc
I am thinking about one of these; I should say I'm in the looking phase, actually. How long will one of these last without scratching, though? It would show stainless underneath if it scratched, right? I think that would be a deal breaker for me. Speaking of PVD, if anyone has an ajoesmith BR 03-92 they are thinking of getting rid of...... I'll take it :):)
fakemaster
People are often under the impression that PVd is like tank armor. It will scratch like anything else. Much less likely but it will. The difference is that depending on the choice of hue and finish (gloss, matte, etc.) it can be easier to buff out and /or be less noticeable than a regular TT plated watch. I wrote a tutorial on PVD repair that you can see here: http://www.replica-watch.info/phpBB3/viewt...206&t=39724 Don't let it be a deal breaker for you. PVD rocks. And scratches just give your watch character.
