wiseman Posted March 11, 2009 Report Share Posted March 11, 2009 I recently tried to change the rubber straps on my BR 03-94 to the nylon "combat" straps I ordered, but I have great difficulty getting the pin into the "pincanal" (for lack of better words) in the nylon-strap. MADRED7 Posted March 11, 2009 Report Share Posted March 11, 2009 First you need to "widen" the nylon-canal a bit...use a screw driver or nail of matching size. Than try to stick this small screwdriver (or a nail with the size of the pin) into the lugs and throuw the strap-canal (right side).... Now attache the strap pin carefully from the other side of the lugs (left side) untill screwdriver and pin meet....now you can pull out the screwdriver while pushing the pin in. That should help.
