preacher62
Just a questions...wasn't sure which forum to post it on but I thought I remembered someone commenting on this issue. I have a watch that I built that has an Asian made (I think, although the dealer maintains that it is ETA) 2824-2. When I get it close to me ear and if it is in a flat dial-up position I can hear the rotor spinning...like it is being driven by the mainspring and is unwinding the movement. Could this be caused by dirty or ill-oiled reversers or the upper and lower reverser wheels sticking? This movement is 4 months old, but I have no idea how long it has been since mfg. or how well it was prepared during mfg. Any help or advice would be kindly appreciated. Thanks, Mike
