Lazy_Hazy
Hey Guys, First up, just wanted to say thank heavens for this forum/board! I know this will show up as my first post but I have been lurking round here for quite some time and the information that can be found here is nothing short of amazing. I, like I suppose many others, was almost duped into the old $1300 'gen swiss' fake but thanks to this forum was able to save myself a fair bit of money. Now obviously there has been a lot of 'excitement' about the latest WM9 V2 sub coming out. I have to admit it is a DAMN fine looking rep and arguably about the finest Sub rep I have ever seen. I know quite often members here will do a rep vs gen photo comparison but what I would really like to know is how the WM9 stacks up against, say, the standard Sub that you would get from josh/andrew? I'd be especially interested in how the 2 Yachmasters compare? My first purchase here some time ago was the LV Sub and a Swiss Yachtie, both from Andrew and whilst the Yachtmaster was great (proper date mag, good weight, solid bracelet e.t.c.) the LV was _very_ average (wrong date mag which was off centre, 'wok' style rehaut, very light & flimsy bracelet) Now I have ordered another Yachtie from Andrew cos I was very happy with the last one (alas after a very drunken night out I managed to lose the thing!) and I really would like to go for another sub so what I am wondering is... shall I drop the extra $400+ on BK's WM9? Or are the latest version of the Noob subs good enough to keep me satisfied? If any one has had the experience of owning both and can let me know their thoughts/opinions I would be grateful.... By-Tor
Hi Lazy Hazy, first you have to clear your mind from bs, and all those useless versions of the Sub (from all dealers). It's very simple. There are only 2-3 modern Sub reps that make any sense now. 1. Noobmariner in the $100 - $200 range / Euromariner in $200 - $300 range 2. WM9 Sub (the best Sub) bklm1234 can source both the correct Noobmariner and WM9. Eurotimez can supply the "Euromariner". I wouldn't buy Rolexes from the dropshipping dealers simply because there's no guarantee what they actually ship. King especially. You only search for those and decide what you want to buy. Don't make a simple matter more complicated than it is. Good luck.
Lazy_Hazy
thanks by-tor. Good advice & straight to the point. You've certainly helped to narrow it down a bit and I'm sure should save me some time.
