Is there any way of checking the authenticity from the serial number? I.e. can I call the jewellars that it was sold at and ask them to clarify, do they keep these on record for example? Its in the UK Thanks David I just bought an Avenger off the net yesterday. I'm bringing it straight to a dealer and having it checked. All original boxes and paperwork come with it. Certificates of originality but that could all be faked as well. Not many people will go that far though. Get all original paperwork.
