movement swap dg2813 to dg4813

Hi All...

In my continuing quest in the hobbie that is becoming a bit to addictive..!!

I decided to swap the movement in my omega smp from the standard dg2813 to a hight beat dg4813.. sort of a practice befor i unleash myself on to the DSSD for the same mod..

Bought some tools , all the bits i needed...

Managed to get the thing apart... and remove a tiny little bit of fluff/dust that had been bugging me for ages..!!

So all good so far.!!

Then the probs began , the DG4813 the part that the hands go on is to close to the face.???

compared with the DG2813.??

have i got the wrong DG4813.??

If so where abouts can i get the correct height ones from.??

Also managed to snap off the second hand locationg pin on my DG2813...!! so cant even put the thing back together..!! :o

Any info would be sweet...

The hourwheel from the 2813 should fit on the 4813 thus allowing project completion...some of the experts here will know for sure.
