PAM 113 or 03a?

Guys,

I am debating if I should do this: I have an old 113 from Ruby and want to change the dial and caseback to DSN 03a. As I think the closed casebacks better for rep Pam's. Should I do it or just leave it as is?

Thanks

IMHO, it depends on the 03A dial. If the dial markers look and glow like lume and the dial says t swiss t then I wouldn't do it unless you are going to relume in "vintage tritium". If the dial says L swiss L then you don't want an A caseback.

kruzer, thank you for your feedback. Yes, the DSN dial is T Swiss T (at least in his picturees) and I was planning to relume it with 'vintage tritium'

I assume the Ruby dial is L Swiss L on the bottom?

I would go for an 03A or B depending on the caseback you procure.

Get the dial properly T-lumed (DSN's is not up to snuff) and make sure you have a polished CG with a brushed lever (correct ST4).

Here is mine with a "B" caseback - Gen Dial, hands and Crown
