david-aussie Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 I wonder has anyone ever done the timezone home study course on how to service the movements. I have so many watches now, it seems would be a interesting idea. I only really want to do my own simple ETA movements or manual movements. not the 7750 etc. If u have then please let me know how u find the course and was it worth it. How long does it take to get to the level where I can service my own ETA movements. tnx
stac Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 DO it! You will learn all about the ETA 2836 and be able to disassemble and reassemble in your sleep. It will get pricey though... Step one...get a Bergoen screw driver set. The more expensive the better. The cheep sets on eBay are totally junk! Good luck!
