mpp
First I would like to thank Gioarmani and Carlsbad Rolex for their great Mod tutorials. Just got my V3 tonight and opening the box, the pearl and all the paint in the pearl triangle just fell out all stuck together. After my cursing streak, I went to the local crafts store and after long talks with the glue staff , I found a new Glue that bonds solid, but has a soft waterproof and chemical resistant rubbery finish LOCTITE stik and seal ultra. It goes on like rubber cement, but leaves a rubber epoxy finish that will flex with bumps and hits so the pearl doesnt just crack off like superglue. Did the Bezel paint mod by Gio after I sealed the pearl in ....glue dried in 5 mins and I will do the Carlsbad Rolex Dial matte mod tomorrow. My thanks and respect to you guys for the tutorials! ThinkBachs
Nice to see someone who doesn't have a little skinny arm wearing one of these! Hairy knuckles but no hair on your arm? What, your some kind of professional tough guy? I'm thinking that's not YOU on that avatar.

Guest carlsbadrolex
Think of it this way... The pearl falling off saved you the trouble of prying it off! I learned from an old friend a long time ago to pull the pearls off all of these reps as soon as you get them and use a good glue to put it back on. Ive never used the exact glue that you did, but I use the loctite brand superglue quite alot. By the way, I posted is somewhere else... The Krylon Matte Finish paint is color #1311 with a SKU of (724504013112) and its available at Michaels Art Supply or Walmart. Congrats again!
