samgher Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 (edited) Three months ago I bought an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 45,5mm (UPO) with a 2824-2 clone (asian) movement. The hands (hour and minute) were bad positioned (hour hand not aligned with dial marking when minute hand is at 12:00 position). I opened the case and repositioned the hands at 12:00 perfectly synchronized with the date. Today i found that hands disaligned again. The hands are tightly inserted to the movement pins so there is no splipping posibility. I move the hands manually (by the crown) and found that the hour hand is positioned correctly (precise date change) but minute hand is 12 minutes in advance. I think that the movement has an internal problem that is causing that. Somebody had experienced a similar problem? Edited April 21, 2009 by samgher
