arniezac Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 The chrono second hand on my Skyland has slipped slightly and although its only about a 1/2 sec to the right, its being bugging the hell out of me. Since I have n't aquainted myself with a local rep-friendly repairer yet, I decided to have a go myself. I know jack about watch maintenance by the way. A few minutes on the search function and I was armed with enough info to do the job. Suffice to say I managed to realign the second hand perfectly albeit without the proper tools ( i pushed it round by hand a bit, sorry). Put everything back together correctly and did n't even have any bits left over.....Brilliant Anyway , the sence of acheivement you guys must have when you complete a project must be amazing and a big thankyou to the more knowledgable amongst us who give their expertise freely. Hope I can pick up a few more tips . I must have saved myself a few quid tonight. Cheers Arniezac.
