No. They moved their base of operations out of Japan. Rumor was they were busted.

This happened to them once before. I remember reading something about them getting busted and the earnings of the business were about $6 million.

Honpo is still active in Japan, but it's moved its operations to China as far as I can tell. You pay to a Japanese account but the orders ship from China. That's why even though I live in Japan I've never been much bothered to buy from Honpo, why wire him cash just to get shipments from China anyway, when the dealers on this board take Paypal.
