twofourt Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 So I went ahead and purchased another Navitimer World to replace my other Navitimer World that is in repair for a lost chrono pusher. The watch arrived today and it also has a loose chrono pusher!! Any ideas on how I can re-attach this pusher.. or if any watchsmith in NYC can handle this... I'm unsure how it all works.. The picture tells all (I can fully remove the pusher) Also what do you guys think of the blue/blue combo?
yodap Posted May 9, 2009 Report Posted May 9, 2009 (edited) I guess any watchsmith could fix it... How do you get it off? Just pull it or screw it? PS: I like the combo Edit: the slide rule doesn't line up. So I went ahead and purchased another Navitimer World to replace my other Navitimer World that is in repair for a lost chrono pusher. 801run Posted May 9, 2009 Report Posted May 9, 2009 To properly attach the pusher you need to remove the movement, there is a screw on the inside of the case that is screwed down into the pusher, if you try do screw your pusher in place from the outside, this screw will only rotate on the inside, you need to keep it firm in place when screwing the pusher. You can not not reach this screw properly without removing the movement first. A watch smith fixes this really quick, and you can do it yourself also if you feel comfy removing the movement (you will not need to remove the dial for this). Also, after screwing the pusher in place, it is a good idea to secure it with a drop of loctite on the screw inside, so it will not unscrew itself later on. I've had the same problem on two of my watches, neither was i Navitimer, but thats just so you know it is not an uncommon problem. I fixed both of them myself, although I accidentally messed up one of them a bit during the repair =/ .. but managed to fix that later on anyhow.

yodap Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 It's better than the standard navi reps out there, but it still doesn't line up perfectly. Only the earlier batch of navis did, and the new Montbrillant Legende.
