First time modding my own watch... a little nervous!

Well, after reading Gio's thread on modding a DSSD V3 as well as a couple other threads on bracelet mods, I've decided to mod my own V3 once it arrives. Here are the mods I will be doing:

1. Mothers Mag & Aluminum bracelet refinishing mod

2. White Lightning Clean Ride clean/lube mod

3. Gio's bezel and case back paint mod

I am going to skip the matte dial mod, for now.

If any of you have any words of wisdom, please feel free to offer. B)

I will be "practicing" the bracelet mods on my Explorer I tonight. We'll see how that goes.

ya, don't do it. lol. i learned my lesson the hard way and will never attempt to do anything to my watches again. with that being said, i have no idea how much skill you have in that department so have fun and good luck!

Sometimes, you just gotta jump in and do it. Tutorials will help... But it's more of an instance where you have to have a feel for the mods you're doing. And a lot of it is learning as you go. I know I've made my fair share of mistakes... Lots of trial and error...
