leitztozeiss
Here are pics of my 217 on a Strapculture "Antiqua" strap. It kind of reminds me of a Gabo strap, only a bit more reasonably priced.

leitztozeiss
Very nice strap Gil..You know what I noticed???? You cut and took off the SC buckle, and used only the tongue part with the rep buckle.. VERYYYYY NICE!!!!!! Thanks K. You are good . . . yes, I did replace the SC buckle with the "Panerai" engraved one. I agree with you that the look is nice. I really like the pointed tongue used by SC on their straps. I should add, that the SC buckle did not need to be cut off. Surprisingly, it did have a screw-type buckle.
leitztozeiss
I also have Davidsen capped hands coming soon. I'll post pics before/during/after installation. I'm also considering doing my own superlume. I just need to figure out where the dial feet screw thingys are located - I can't seem to find them. ehtolcad
sometimes pics can be deceiving, but how light colored would you say that strap is? sometimes i have said oh that looks too light to me, but have been pleasantly surprised when said strap arrives and it's a bit darker than i thought it would be...
