Guest HeWhoIsLikeGod
Found this beautiful Patek on Andrew's website, it is a stunning piece with eta movement, sapphire, etc. I am going to get this watch, but I can't seem to find a genuine to compare to. I check out the Patek website and their collection of Gondolo's has nothing like this watch. If it is just a fantasy, where do the rep manufacturers come up with such a great design. Anyone have this watch? It is great to see such a modern looking yet classical Patek. And look at that beautiful bracelet. Can anyone tell me what watch this is supposed to be replicated from? any opinions and comments welcome. Thanks.
Linder
I think they started with a picture of a 5135 and then then looked around to see what pieces they had available to work with.
Guest HeWhoIsLikeGod
Is a 5153 really the closest thing to genuine?
Richard Tracy
Great thing about Patek, is that they have so many centuries.. and hundreds of models, that not many would ever know what is real or fantasy... I used to frequent this estate auction site, and they had so many pages of pateks, that I would virtually sit there for hours, searching through model after model without end... Really, ....I never made it to the last page...
Guest HeWhoIsLikeGod
Thats kind of what I figured, is there any website that has cataloged all the different models, or atleast a majority? Thanks for your input I was really can't wait to get this watch home. I haven't found a site which has them all.. and though I can't seem to find the original site I used to frequent... I did find an adequate aution site that has some listings here ... http://catalog.antiquorum.com/catalog_asta.html Just type in Patek and hit search.... They also have huge selection of many brands to gawk at...

robertk
I think they make so many hundreds of models that they themselves don't know the real from the replica any more.
drop
Gorgeous, thanks for posting the pic. Reminds me of a Parmigiani Kalpa...
