Cheap Aquaracer - any good?

Hey all,

I try to keep my REPs under 150$, and the next one I've put my eyes on is the Aquaracer (not the day date, but the date only model). From the small research I did, I've found out that there are 2 models, the expensive A7750 and the cheaper quartz one.

I've seen great reviews for the automatic, but couldn't find much info on the quartz model. Are them the same apart the movement? I know that most ppl around here don't think much about quartz watches, and that the gens are automatic, but personally that part doesn't bother me much, and I prefer to save 200$ and go for the quartz if that is the only difference.

Anyone tried the quartz? thanks a lot...

There is Aquaracer quartz chrono (gen) as well. Unfortunately the quartz rep looks nothing like it.

The quartz rep is made of the automatic version.

Quartz Aquaracer chronos can be found for as low as $600 preowned. I suggest you go for the gen... it's really nicely finished quality watch and the cheap quartz reps can never compare.
