frankt
Top pusher is very wrong and my question is why? I am curious about the process of designing a rep and why that would be wrong? The two pushers are the same on the gen...that is very easy to duplicate. So did you do it on purpose? and if not why is it wrong? This case is the same as the 163, the only changes were the dial, and the engraving on the display back ....and maybe a slightly different crystal, since the 163 is only 13.4mm thick...Nice effect, but not an "earthshaker" like the 212 when it first came out... chad
Thanks! got it You will find this is because they already have these cases made to suit the older 163 rep. You have to remember that the makers are not out to necessarily make an absolute perfect rep. Often so long as it is close enough they will sell. Personally I like this watch as the chrono pusher is easier to live with than the missing date in the 163 and the dial looks a whole lot nicer as well. Looking at the case I doubt it is possible to change the pushers as the recess for the top pusher is too big. One thing that I will be doing when mine arrives (yes I have ordered one!!) is to remove the blue from the screws - that will make a big difference. Of course the movt in this rep is the reliable Seagull T19 which should give good accuracy/reliability.
