Timepiece Posted June 18, 2009 Report Share Posted June 18, 2009 I bought my PAM232 Radiomir from RWG's member CATS. Both he and I loved this 'golden section' watch but ended up not wearing it much. Somehow I had the feeling this was due to the colour of the (buttery soft!) Savage strap. So I started a picture quest for a more eye-pleasing strap combo for the PAM232. I found a thread on Paneristi from a guy that bought a gen and this Jules Verne or JV strap: Looking for these apparently rare straps I came across an ad from my favourite strap maker HKTAN. He just purchased a JV style treated skin and offered them as the following custom straps. So I sent him the gen pics and asked him to make me a nice 26/26mm specimen. 3 months later this is what showed up on my doormat today After switching the straps. I am very pleased with the warm colour and thick HKTAN quality. This is exactly what I needed. For sure the tan will evolve very nicely in time. Why is the Jules Verne strap so special?
