poopypants
I am thinking about doing a EVO Dial into a SKYLAND case... I saw one done, however, it was all bling'd out, so i would probably keep it simple with a white or black stick dial... Whatcha guys think? yodap
You will end up with a nice and inaccurate watch. I wouldn't do it, but hey, it's your watch not mine I'd like to see the finished project though! Greetz.

yodap
This is the one i saw... wait... That's a V3 rep right? Other than that, it's nice... I like it!
rogerthat
Would it fit with the inner bezel? The heights may be different?
poopypants
the pic shows all GEN.
rogerthat
I understand that was a gen, but my point is that the inner bezel heights may in fact differ and that is why the gen has that diamond inner bezel to take up the space. If you are not "bling it out" it may not work. I don't care for the bling personally, but to each his own.
poopypants
roger: you may be right. it looks as if they have the diamonds built on to lip of lip Evo dial. not sure how much height that may add to the outer bezel ring... But, i think the mod that may have to happen is longer and possibly custom bent movement/dial holders so that the dial can be pushed closer to the case, compared to the skyland dial... we will see... andreww
firstly, I am fairly positive that is a v3 rep and not a gen. Secondly, you will have issues with the insert. The skyland insert is much deeper than the evo, so you will have to use the skyland insert or find a way to fill the extra space. You can't move the dial farther in to the case as the crown and pushers won't line up.

Made you a good pic of pointing it out, will post it later today
yodap
Here's the pic. The 'tells' are: -Pearl should be smaller and sunken into the bezel -Numerals on the bezel should go more towards the edge of the bezel -Numeral '1' on the bezel is stamped with wrong font -Pushers are too long Now here's the pic: Edited June 23, 2009 by yodap
