Is this fixable?

Hi all!

Just sold my old bentley 6.75 for a very good price, and I wanna buy it again from my friend, but twice cheaper as I sold mine :)

But the watch has some problems...

Something is on the outter (white slide rule) is some dust or i don't know what it is... It looks brighter than the other areas...

And the 30 min chrono minute hand is not as close to the dial as the other ones, and it can move. So if you shake the watch in the left side, the hand will move a bit left and vice-versa... Also if running the chrono this hand won't jump on the correct position ever (and yes, it jumps, not sweeps to the next marker when reaching 60 secs...) it always jumps between the marks...

Maybe the problem is that it's not installed properly? Can a watchmaker fix it by reinstalling the hand?

Thanks for your help, this would be a great deal for me but these faults do fustrate me...

Greetz.

Looks like the subdial hand should be an easy fix. Just not set on the post properly. The movement needs to be removed with the chrono reset, then move the hand in to position and set with a hand setting tool. The insert discoloring is likely a more difficult, if not an impossible fix. If it was dirt, or something that could be cleaned, it would be darker, not lighter than the rest.

Hi Andrew!

Thanks for your answer, I'm happy to hear that the minute hand is fixable, but the slide rule bothers me... :(

I took some more photos and from different angles it looks brighter and from some it looks darker. From some angles it's unnoticeable.

Some pics:

Darker:

Almost unnoticeable:

It looks like somebody touhed it after eating a cheeseburger :D:(

I hope it'll just need to be wiped off...

What do you think?

Thanks!
