Guest ThePhilosopher
Beautiful and refreshing view. How are you metering these? A Sekonic L-308s for the shots using flash and my Olympus E-500 for anything shot on 4x5 - then calculating from there. This is my "project", Sunday is macro day. gliptopolis
These are amazing! You should post a tutorial for macro shots
Guest ThePhilosopher
These are amazing! You should post a tutorial for macro shots I would do so, but I have access to a lot more gear than the average guy with DSLR and all my techniques may not be suitable for all photographers (especially the lighting). I was looking for what I could do with my other domain - I think I have found out.
Toadtorrent
I would be interested in the lighting setup too. These are great. That's hilarious about using the E-500 for metering...effective but bulky.
Guest ThePhilosopher
Less bulky than using my D200. I'll setup my blog for doing this, behind the scenes macro setups. Edited January 11, 2010 by ThePhilosopher

Guest ThePhilosopher
That lighting method works great for other things - I'll post an image using some sea salts scrub crystals later. Thanks for the comment. Edited January 25, 2010 by ThePhilosopher

redwatch
Very very cool! Thanks again! If you are so inclined, it would be great to see some creative lighting examples that can be used when taking product style shots (ie: watches)
