  1. Ok, so I pack up all my good stuff to visit my watch smith later. Going to be a busy day of moving generators & wiring in another generator at friends, so put on a rep of a rep. Fifty bucks delivered looks like this but silver sub dials. (looks better to me) http://www.ttw168.com/index.php?main_page=popup_image&pID=72 Breitling Bentley 48. So after being gone all day stop at local dinner for a bite waitress notices watch " love that watch"owner I know is walking about"hey Mike what's that nice" for once I am at a loss for words just say "yea nice thanks" continue eating, hungry ! I am at counter so soon everybody is taking a peek as I eat. I have been in there with you name it top of the line reps Pam, Rolex ,Omega, new SFSO white dial really sharp, the list goes on even Gens. This one has everybody looking & asking, go figure.

  2. The choice really comes down to whether you think you are smart enough to figure out what to do with your own money or whether you feel you are too stupid to make those decisions so you'd rather give it to the government and let them decide.

  4. Looks really nice. PS: It's Milgauss, not Milguass. It's amazing how 90% of people spell it wrong... all the time.

  6. But TeeJay- Back in 2011 you said............(read my signature) And on that one we agree. The reason noobs become experienced is by doing their own due diligence, not bringing bloody QC pics onto the forum and getting others to do the work for them! I actually hate QC pics, because it is something that leaves the door wide open to lazy dealers supplying any old photo. There is no way you can be sure you get the watch in the photo, short of having your name engraved onto the dial. In the replica business it is a too simple job to swap any item in or out, to suit any purpose.. Offshore

  7. I have been following this thread for awhile. That's wonderful news Hambone! I got to spend a few weeks with my Dad before he passed. It was really good for both of us, setting things straight and righting wrongs. But most of all I look back on it with warm feelings now and no regrets. I thank God it was possible for me to be able to do that. Congrats on your fathers new health and thanks for the update.

  8. What a mind warp! Imagine a building big enough to have a canal inside it! Gondolas? Like big kayaks? And singing dudes paddling them around? That's just too much. Here, it's all "hush man, don't make any noise so that big bear on the shore doesn't see us go by". What completely different worlds we inhabit. I'd be honored to sample a beer in your honor if I ever get to Las Vegas, though I doubt that will ever happen. But if you're ever in Alaska... hang on tight, it's going to be a 100mph whirlwind the whole time you're here! Don't count on any sleep, this is life in the last frontier and it comes in great big chunks. Thanks again for passing along that great news!

  12. Welcome. It's not normal for the watch to run that fast (may have gotten magnetized) in the future stick to Josh at Perfect Clones, Toro Bravo or Watch International. Now most dealers send QC Pics- with a shot of the timegraph. Usally should get 15 sec/day or better accuracy.

  13. Hi Kevin, IMHO Rolex is not for you. Really, it's an older guy's watch. Choose something fun and funky. Something interesting and quirky. Less cliche (With all due respect to Rolex) Sure we are talking about reps, but that doesn't mean you can't choose some exciting brand as your first rep. Just note that in any case your budget will not get you a very good watch (replication-wise, or mechanically) I have a couple of suggestions to you: 1. Sinn U1 or U2, Fantastic watches, in your budget and replicated rather well. I'd get this one, definitely. http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=302&products_id=5233 2. A nice Maxi Marine http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=298_300&products_id=5015 3. Very nice Bell & Ross http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=104_220&products_id=5597 4. The newly replicated Nomos, if you want something classy. http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=401 If you really need a Rolex, in my opinion the best choice would be Explorer 1. It's a stealth Rolex and a great classic. Also if you can go just above 200$ check out IWC Mark XV (or XVI) - the black ones, or Panerai Basic Luminor.

  14. Hi guys, have any of you shipped items from China to Australia? The EMS tracking thingy says that it's been handed over to customs... kinda worried

  15. Hi, I wish to order some glass crystals from Cousinsuk, but they do not provide detailed descriptions for their crystals, just size and initials according with the Sternkreuz classification system. Does anyone know what those initials mean? I am expecially interested in the initials CMH, MS, MF and MFH. My guess so far is that M stands for Mineral glass, and possibly S for Small, F for flat, and H for High. Very unsure, though, and that "C" stays a mystery... Btw, I already painfully learned that with "domed" they mean concave-convex crystals, not plano-convex.
