  1. Hi! After wearing during this Christmas holidays my Montblanc Timewalker Chrono 7753 with stainless steel bracelet, ideal for dressy purposes, after surviving family feasts I decided to make another strap for this outstanding watch, trying to give it a strong vintage feel. Stirring vintage leather hides at home I thought convenient to use again a leather used lately for the V40 series. Now, I've made a strap with marked 'flieger' look, considering the watch spirir and dial, making it with generous padding, leather and edges aged processing and full stitching to match white dial marks. It will develop a great patina with using. I called 'Legend' to this strap... After fitting it on the watch and wearing, I've rolled back to any military flight during the 40's. I hope you like my last work for this watch Here are some pics: Do you like it? Thanks for looking!

  2. It's the new one from Z-fac mounted on a Turkish Ammo strap. Quality is great and comparable to my Noob-maker PAMs, rotor is running very quietly and bezel clicks very smooth.

  5. I believe that what I would do, if I were you, would be this route. Sit down and sort out all the stuff you have, which truly is a very impressive collection of parts and watches. Then, I would prioritize the projects. The ones that are past the realm of feasibility, I would sell. That also applies to the genuine watches that are gathering dust. Then, I would use the funds from the parts and watch sales to finance the projects that are the closest to your heart.

  7. Hahahaha, yes, this forum has that kind of effect on people Before coming here I was happy with no watch at all. Now I've got too many watches, too few money and can't stop visiting this place and lots of others.

  13. You did not get any search results for RRwatch, which implies that nobody knows about that dealer and cant tell you anything.. :-) Stay with the dealers in the Trusted dealers section. Most serious dealers have access to the same watches. Scam dealers will often say they have access to Grade AAAA+++ Top Swiss Exclusive replicas...

  14. It's on all of the genuine modern buckles. They did this after the grand prix, to preserve/smoothen the buckling/unbuckling process as they were eating up straps (scratching)..

  15. The minute wheel is the same, it isn't the source of the roughness or the problem. The problem is the incompatibility of the rollie cannon pinion and the zenith center wheel. Rolex replaces the center wheel (along with a bunch of other stuff) when the modify the zenith. The center wheel is the one that the cannon pinion fits onto, the one with the post sticking out. The reason you need a new center wheel, is that the rollie cannon pinion has a smaller diameter hole than the zenith, and the only fix is to remove the center wheel, mount it in a lathe, and turn down the post for the cannon pinion until it fits correctly. There are many other issues and problems you are going to run into as soon as you start to change the parts, too many problems to mention and try and explain. The old rule applies, you change 1 thing, you affect 12 others... I have build a number of these and they are extremely time consuming as soon as you start to install rollie parts. If you are doing the upgrade, or if you have someone doing it for you, I hope they are very very skilled watchmakers, otherwise your in for a rough ride, I still have the scars and emotional trauma from doing it myself...
